We serve clients across the oil and gas, utility, renewable energy, and infrastructure sectors. We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Operator to join our Fort Worth office and support our surveying, mapping, and land development projects. Position Summary The CAD Operator will be responsible for preparing, modifying, and maintaining technical drawings and maps using CAD software. This role works closely with surveyors, project managers, and GIS specialists to deliver accurate and high-quality drafting support. Key Responsibilities Prepare and edit CAD drawings, plats, and exhibits from field data, legal descriptions, and survey notes Convert survey data into accurate technical drawings and mapping deliverables Assist with right-of-way exhibits, alignment sheets, and parcel maps Maintain drawing standards, layering, and file organization Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables Revise drawings based on redlines and project updates Support project documentation and data management Qualifications 2+ years of experience in CAD drafting (land, survey, civil, or related field preferred) Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred) Familiarity with survey principles, legal descriptions, and mapping concepts Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with right-of-way or oil & gas projects Familiarity with GIS software (ArcGIS or similar) Experience working with survey data and plats Understanding of coordinate systems and geospatial data What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Stable, in-office work environment in Fort Worth Opportunity to work on high-impact energy and infrastructure projects Collaborative and growth-oriented team
