Job Description We are seeking a skilled Geospatial Land Surveyor Technician and Part-107 UAV Pilot to join our team. The Surveyor will be responsible for conducting land surveys, collecting data, and creating maps and reports. The ideal candidate will have experience with geospatial technology and be able to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Survey Planning, Fieldwork, and post-processing Collect and analyze data to create maps and reports Ability to travel and work alone, upload data to the office Understand control and check point standards, GNSS quality standards Understand datums, projections, epochs, realizations of mapping and GNSS Ensure accuracy and completeness of survey data and field notes of work performed Collaborate with other surveyors and professionals to complete projects Maintain and calibrate survey equipment UAV Planning, Fieldwork (Part-107 certified and current) Ability to travel and work the visual observer, plan flights and adjust plans as needed in the field Ability to QC UAV acquisition in the field (LP360) and upload data to the office Assist with LP360 processing in the office Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations and conduct survey activities in a safe and effective manner Requirements Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project locations Ability to work outdoors in various types of weather Ability to occasionally work in the office Strong attention to detail and accuracy Experience in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field Experience using Survey equipment and software Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional Certification, such as a Certified Survey Technician (CST), preferred EEO Statement Aero-Graphics will recruit, hire, train and promote all persons in all job groups without regard to race, religion, sex, color, national origin, age or disability.
