We are a Land Surveying and Remote Sensing firm with an amazing team in our Bellevue, WA office. We utilize conventional survey methods, terrestrial LiDAR (3D scanning) and UAS aerial LiDAR and photogrammetric mapping to produce standardized and/or customizable deliverables to our clients. Our team tackles topographic and boundary/ROW projects large and small throughout the northwest - supporting projects for federal, state, city, utility, transportation, power/energy, industrial, and private residential/commercial development.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Field Technician to support our land surveying projects. The ideal candidate would have experience using total stations, static scanners, and GPS equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Adjust and operate surveying instruments. Perform differential level circuits with level rods from benchmarks to establish project elevations. Record survey measurements and descriptive data, using notes, drawings, sketches, and inked tracings. Conduct surveys to ascertain the locations of natural features and human-made structures. Search for section corners, property monuments, and other evidence of occupation. Set and recover satkes, marks, and other monumentation. Perform manual labor, such as cutting brush for lines, carrying stakes, rebar, other heavy items, and equipment needed for perform work. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Associates degree or higher
