Job Description

Survey Tech InterCon Construction, Inc. Medical, Dental, Vision, Voluntary Life and Disability Coverage, Company Vehicle, 401k Match, 8 Company Holidays, Paid Time Off United States, Wisconsin, Madison May 15, 2026 The Survey Technician position is responsible for assisting surveyor and/or designers to help identify property lines, right-of-way lines, easement boundaries, etc. for the design and/or construction of utilities.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Collecting boundary field evidence of monuments, topography, easements, and utility locates. Using GPS equipment to take accurate and detailed field notes. Utilizing AutoCAD Civil3D, for drafting, data processing, and importing. Ability to work in field or office settings in variable amounts of time depending on project requirements. Coordinate with InterCon Designers on survey needs and schedules. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
Minimum of two years of experience or two years related schooling is required. Current CST (Certified Survey Technician) certification(s) a plus, or a willingness to pursue after employment. Must have working knowledge of AutoCAD. Ability to manage numerous tasks/projects simultaneously. Ability to work with other employees. Ability to self-motivate when tasked with solo work opportunities. Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word Position will work on projects primarily in Wisconsin.
