Alabama , Birmingham Job Description A well-established and highly respected contractor in the Southeast is seeking a Field Engineer to support large-scale heavy highway and bridge projects. Responsibilities:

Support daily field operations on heavy highway and bridge projects Assist with layout, surveying, and documentation Track project progress, quantities, and production Manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field 1-5+ years of experience in heavy civil, highway, or bridge construction Strong understanding of construction processes and field operations Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Willingness to work in the field and travel as needed
