• Ongoing Safety Training & Education What You'll Do As a CTS Construction Surveyor, you'll:
• Perform daily construction layout activities using Trimble total stations and/or Trimble GNSS (Survey equipment.)
• Interpret construction drawings, including architectural, structural, civil, and electrical plans.
• Lay out electrical elements such as conduit paths, stub-ups, equipment locations, feeders, lighting layouts, underground runs, duct banks, and various site utilities.
• Establish, verify, and maintain survey control points throughout the project.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure layout accuracy and compliance with design specifications.
• Maintain and properly care for survey equipment, ensuring accuracy and calibration.
• Support the team in adapting to design changes, updated backgrounds, and revised point files as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• Must have surveying or construction layout experience (electrical layout preferred but not required).
• Familiarity with Trimble total stations, Trimble GNSS, and layout software.
• Willing to learn layout technician responsibilities.
• Willing to learn on Trimble GNSS equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Basic understanding of electrical construction if preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to perform general physical activities common to the electrical trade.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
