Full Job Description General Purpose of Position:
Perform land surveying duties in the office and in the field for a small civil engineering and land surveying firm engaged in land development throughout the County of San Diego.
Specific Tasks:
To assist with the following tasks which are to be performed under the direction and supervision of a
Licensed Land Surveyor:
Field
  • Assist on boundary, topographic, and construction staking surveys using a total station, GPS equipment and data-collector Office
  • Prepare deeds and legal descriptions for easement and grant deeds
  • Prepare maps for boundary surveys and subdivisions
  • Processing of maps through local jurisdictions
  • Processing data from field surveys
  • Prepare topographic maps
  • Perform boundary and title research
Requirements:
  • Must be proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D software and basic Microsoft Office software.
  • 2 years' experience as a rodman/survey assistant preferred
  • A current, valid California Class C driver's license
  • Must have a dependable form of transportation
  • Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) preferred
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
