$58.00 - $75.00 per hour (DOE) About Us We are an established land surveying firm serving the Bay Area with a strong pipeline of work across commercial construction and residential projects. We're looking for an experienced Party Chief who can run crews and deliver quality work on both construction staking and topographic surveys. We keep our crews busy year-round and take pride in the quality of work we put out. What You'll Do Lead survey crews on construction staking projects including grading, building pads, utilities, curb and gutter, and finish work Perform residential topographic surveys from start to finish — field work, data collection, and field-to-finish processing Set and check horizontal and vertical control using GPS (RTK/GNSS) and robotic total stations Read and interpret construction plans, grading plans, and legal descriptions Coordinate with contractors, project managers, engineers, and homeowners on site Perform boundary analysis and resolve discrepancies in the field Process field data and prepare deliverables using survey software (Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson, or similar) Maintain equipment, vehicles, and calibration records Mentor and train instrument operators and chainmen on your crew What You Bring 5+ years of experience as a Party Chief or senior instrument operator in the Bay Area Proven experience with both construction staking (commercial/civil) and residential topo surveys Proficiency with

GPS/GNSS
