This role is ideal for someone who enjoys consulting with clients, conducting site assessments, and delivering tailored roofing solutions that balance performance, budget, and long‑term value. You will serve as a trusted advisor—helping clients make informed decisions on roof design, installation, repair, maintenance, and replacement—while coordinating closely with internal teams to ensure high‑quality project execution. Key Responsibilities Conduct on‑site assessments and inspections to evaluate roofing conditions and determine repair or replacement needs Advise clients on roofing materials, systems, styles, and options based on budget, property requirements, and long‑term goals Prepare detailed proposals and estimates outlining scope of work, materials, costs, and timelines Collaborate with project managers and installation crews to ensure projects are executed smoothly and meet quality standards Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing updates, answering questions, and addressing concerns Develop and sustain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals Maintain accurate records of inspections, proposals, contracts, reports, and client communications Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, zoning requirements, and safety regulations Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies Stay informed on roofing industry trends, regulations, safety standards, and best practices Advise clients on environmentally sustainable and energy‑efficient roofing options, including green roofing solutions Participate in marketing and business development efforts, including industry events, promotional initiatives, and social media engagement Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications & Experience 1-2 years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience) Formal education not required Strong customer service, communication, and relationship‑building skills Sales‑minded with the ability to consult, recommend, and close solutions Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe, and CRM systems Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and conflict‑resolution skills Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to analyze situations and develop effective solutions Understanding of workplace safety standards and industry regulations Strong collaboration and teamwork capabilities Ability to provide professional, responsive service to clients Physical Demands & Work Environment Ability to set up and climb ladders and inspect roofs at various heights Ability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds occasionally Combination of office and field work Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, typing, and computer use Regular communication via email, phone calls, and messaging Moderate noise level in work environments Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
