Utilize advanced Total Station, GPS RTK functionality, and GIS technologies to collect and analyze geospatial data, ensuring precise measurements for construction and development projects.Prepare Detailed Survey Reports:
Generate accurate topographic maps, boundary reports, and plats using specialized software such as AutoCAD and Trimble Business Center to support engineering teams during planning and execution phases.Data Analysis and Interpretation:
Perform complex calculations and data adjustments using specialized software to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with local and state regulations.Boundary and Legal Descriptions:
Analyze property records, plats, and other documentation to prepare legal descriptions and boundary determinations for land acquisitions and easements. Consultation withProject Teams:
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction managers, providing technical guidance on land-related issues to ensure project feasibility and accuracy.Use of Advanced Equipment:
Operate and maintain high-precision surveying instruments, including robotic total stations, aerial drones, and 3D laser scanners, to complete fieldwork efficiently.Job Requirements:
Master's (or foreign equivalent) degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of work experience as a Land Surveyor or related.Some work experience required with:
1) Total Station electronic/optical instrument, GPS Real-Time Kinematic functionality advanced technique, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) computer system and software to collect and analyze geospatial data. 2) AutoCAD and Trimble Business Center (TBC) specialized geospatial software for surveying, construction, and mapping, to process field data into usable maps, models, and reports. 3) Aerial drones and 3D laser scanners to complete fieldwork efficiently.Travel:
