Full Job Description Job Description:
Dunrite Excavation is an excavation employer, located in Berthoud, CO. Looking for qualified a site-work surveyor.
Responsibilities:
  • Experience with AutoCAD 3d civil, Trimble business center HCE, Revit, and Bluebeam.
  • Ability to read construction plans and details.
  • Build 2d/3d models for survey/machine control.
  • Create points in CAD for accurate layout.
  • Create details to send crews for assistance.
  • Surveying experience with Trimble data collector to give accurate layout to crews.
  • Ability to create as-built information from existing features.
  • Compete existing or finished TOPO maps and import them into CAD software to generate reports.
  • GCS machine control.
  • Trimble
GCS/KOMATSU IMC
grade control machinery.
  • Ability to generate separate file types for individual software, calibrate machines for different site locations, export machine as-built data for quality control.
  • Laborer/heavy equipment operating experience doing utility/site grading
  • Ensures a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
  • Can read and properly interpret survey grade stakes
  • Good driving record
  • Problem solving ability
  • Strong work ethic/team player attitude
Requirements :
  • Must have valid driver's license and clean MVR
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be safety-oriented and exhibit safe work habits
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn new skills
  • Perform well in a "TEAM" environment
  • Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
  • Ability to lift 75+lbs
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noise
  • Workers must be punctual and reliable. And have the ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instruction
  • Willing to work hours that are associated to the construction industry, including overtime and weekends as needed
  • 2 years previous surveying experience.
Mandatory Training & Compliance All workers, as a condition of employment, are required to complete specific mandatory training modules to ensure a safe, ethical, and compliant working environment. The company will provide all necessary training at no cost. Required training includes, but is not limited to: Hazard Communication (OSHA compliant) Data protection Position specific training All new employees must complete initial compliance training within the first 90 days of employment and participate in all required annual refreshers. Failure to complete assigned mandatory training is a violation of company policy and may impact employment status.
Compliance Expectation:
All new hires must successfully complete initial mandatory training. Failure to complete or pass required mandatory training is a violation of company policy and may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
Pay:
$30-$40 per hour DOE Full-time Year Round Work Eligible for Benefits after 60 days! Company provides paid health insurance for the employee.
