We areseeking a Crew Chief to join our Land Surveying Practice based in our Glastonbury, CT office.

Duties will include:

Supervise the survey crew's activities and use of equipment. Makes timely requests for equipment and other survey needs. Coordinate with the field staff and office staff on project needs. Provide design direction and guidance to technicians. Assist Instrument Operators and Survey Technicians with tasks and responsibilities Provide field and construction observation support, as necessary. Provide CAD, GIS, or other computer software support and analysis. Collect and record electronic and written field notes. Perform supporting calculations and provides the necessary research and supporting documentation to support the calculations. Assist with the preparation of reports, studies and other documentation. Assist with preparation of plans and specifications. Requirements 5-10+ years of relevant land surveying experience. GPS, Data collector, Total Station experience is required. CAD experience required, MicroStation experience preferred.

Estimated Pay Range:

$30-40/hour. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
