Surveyor Pathway Talent Partners Norwalk, CT Job Details Full-time $100,000 - $150,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Tuition reimbursement Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Referral program Qualifications CAD software Driver's License Working on construction projects Full Job Description Surveyor - Heavy Civil Construction We are working with a nationally recognized heavy civil contractor to add an experienced Surveyor to support large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and site development work. Key Responsibilities Perform field layout and as-builts for active construction projects Operate survey equipment including GPS, Total Stations, and levels Complete site setup activities (calibration, control checks, level runs) Execute layout calculations (station/offset, grading, distances) Maintain accurate field notes and documentation Coordinate directly with Project Managers and Superintendents Transfer and manage survey data between field and office Utilize Trimble equipment and software for layout and machine control Qualifications 7-10+ years of construction survey experience Strong knowledge of GPS and survey software (SCS900, Trimble Access, etc.) Experience working independently in field environments Basic CAD experience (Civil 3D, Carlson, MicroStation, etc.) Valid driver's license What's Offered Competitive base salary Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision) 401k with company match PTO + long-term stability with a strong contractor Tuition reimbursement + referral bonuses Why Consider This Role Work on large, high-profile heavy civil projects Established contractor with strong backlog and reputation Hands-on role with autonomy in the field Clear opportunity for long-term growth
