Job Description
R.E. Pierson Construction is looking for a full-time party chief to join our team. The party chief is responsible for all the field layout for our Delaware/Maryland projects. This includes establishing/maintaining control throughout each job, laying out office calculated points in the field and communicating with foreman/superintendents to make sure their layout needs are met. The party chief will be responsible for laying out bridges, curb, ADA ramps, line striping, clearing, paving, drainage basins and utilities to name few things. The party chief will be expected to perform asbuilts, take field notes and transfer benchmarks/elevations. They will be responsible for localizing sites for machine control, assist in troubleshooting machine control problems and help load critical machine control files into the machines.
