Boca Raton, FL Description This Project Surveyor is responsible for performing highly complex technical assignments in survey & mapping and project supervision, developing and checking survey computations, legal descriptions, client reports, coordination with clients and working on multiple projects concurrently. Careers | DRMP Your Primary Responsibilities will include Coordination of work activities being performed by field crews Making and checking survey and mapping computations Inspecting construction work activities Preparation of legal descriptions and mapping products Quality control on survey data and mapping activities Coordination of work activities with clients and other disciplines Responsible for budgets on projects assigned to them Preparation of monthly reports to clients and processing invoices Provide independent peer reviews on work performed by others and make technical decisions related to the survey profession. What you'll need Good written communication and handwriting with the ability to take all types of notes in the required manner, manage, and organize field crew. Ability to calculate basic math as required for the work and utilize calculators and other computational devices. Professional Surveyor & Mapper (PSM) or Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license is preferred. Ability to carry and lift equipment as needed on project. Valid driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history required. Ability to travel.
