Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Land Surveyor (Professional Surveyor and Mapper - PSM) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead land surveying projects, ensuring precise data collection, mapping, and analysis to support civil engineering, construction, and land development initiatives. Your expertise will drive accurate boundary determinations, topographical surveys, and detailed schematics that form the foundation for successful project execution. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply advanced surveying technology and techniques while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive land surveys using GPS, 3D scanners, total stations, and other advanced surveying equipment to collect accurate spatial data. Prepare detailed survey reports, schematics, and maps utilizing AutoCAD and Carlson software platforms. Perform boundary analysis and establish legal property lines through ALTA surveys and other land title surveys. Manage data collection workflows for construction sites, including topographic mapping and site layout planning. Collaborate with civil engineers and architects to develop schematics and construction plans aligned with project specifications. Operate Leica or similar GPS and 3D scanning equipment for accurate field data acquisition. Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards related to land surveying practices. Maintain meticulous records of survey activities, field notes, sketches, and digital data for future reference. Qualifications Valid licensure as a Professional Land Surveyor (PSM) or equivalent certification in your jurisdiction. Proven experience in land surveying within civil engineering or construction environments. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD. Strong knowledge and familiarity with Carlson software is desirable. Skilled in using GPS technology and 3D scanners for precise data collection. Solid understanding of land surveying principles including boundary law, ALTA surveys, schematics, and topographic mapping. Excellent drafting skills combined with experience in CAD drafting for detailed schematics and construction layouts. Ability to interpret construction plans and coordinate with project teams effectively. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing survey data and reports. $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
