  • Full-time Florida Blacktop, Inc is seeking a motivated individual to manage the operational activities of the production department.
Candidates must be able to plan, analyze, report, track and identify job specific needs while insuring timely completion of jobs.
Who we are looking for:
AA degree college minimum Asphalt paving level II certified. Expertise in design and survey. Exceptional math skills. A minimum of 10 years management experience in construction Extraordinary relational and leadership skills Strategic planning skills Ability to work in a team environment Demonstrated knowledge of safety and environmental regulations Proficient in Microsoft Office; Microsoft Projects and ability to learn new computer software MOT knowledge
Responsibilities:
Read contract, bid documents, addendums, technical specifications, drawings and specific construction details for complete understanding of project requirements Knowledge in the interpretation of test/data results and consultant reporting. Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the quality of existing conditions and provide solutions based on contract requirements Manage multiple projects in various locations Identify, manage and control changes as it pertains to scope of work Build and maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors Conduct management meetings with owners Additionally, you will be responsible for invoicing, permitting, planning, drafting, cost estimations.
