Land Surveyor Atlanta, GA 30305 $65,753.42 - $85,025.63 a year - Full-time, Contract $65,753.42 - $85,025.63 a year - Full-time, Contract Join our dynamic team as a Land Surveyor and play a vital role in accurately mapping and analyzing land features to support construction, civil engineering, and development projects. You will utilize advanced surveying equipment and software to collect precise data, interpret complex schematics, and produce detailed maps and reports. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that shape communities and infrastructure while leveraging cutting-edge technology and techniques. Conduct land surveys using GPS, 3D scanners, Total Stations, and other advanced surveying tools to gather accurate spatial data. Prepare detailed survey drawings, schematics, and reports utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, and Carlson software. Perform topographic surveys, ALTA surveys for property boundaries, and construction staking to guide project development. Analyze survey data through trigonometry, geometry, algebra, and math principles to ensure precision in measurements and calculations. Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and ArcGIS for spatial analysis, mapping, and data visualization. Operate and maintain surveying equipment such as Trimble units, laser scanners, and GPS systems to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with civil engineers and architects to interpret schematics, land boundaries, and construction plans for project accuracy. Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards related to land surveying practices. Collect data efficiently in the field while maintaining safety protocols during construction or site visits. knowledge of land surveying techniques GPS technology, 3D scanners, Trimble equipment, and other modern surveying tools. Solid understanding of math fundamentals essential for accurate measurements. Familiarity with civil engineering principles related to construction site planning and design. Ability to interpret technical schematics and land boundary descriptions accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail during data collection and analysis. Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on complex projects.
