Machine Control / Land Surveyor A local Iowa pavement company is seeking a dependable and experienced Machine Control / Land Surveyor to join our growing team. This position works Monday-Friday traveling throughout the week with crews on paving projects and is home on weekends. Pay Starting at $28/hour+ depending on experience Schedule Monday-Friday Over-the-road travel during the work week Home weekends Responsibilities Operate and manage machine control systems on paving projects Set up and maintain robotic stations and laser equipment Work with pavers and trimmers to ensure accurate grading and paving elevations Perform layout and surveying duties for roadway and pavement projects Read and interpret construction plans and grade stakes Verify measurements and maintain project accuracy throughout job completion Troubleshoot and calibrate surveying and machine control equipment as needed Communicate with operators, foremen, and project managers to maintain production and accuracy Follow all company safety procedures and DOT regulations Qualifications Experience with machine control systems, surveying, lasers, and robotic stations preferred Knowledge of paving, grading, or roadway construction Ability to read blueprints and construction plans Valid driver's license required CDL preferred but not required Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Benefits Health insurance offered Competitive pay based on experience Consistent full-time hours Opportunity for advancement within a growing company Sedona Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer Please email resume to abby@careerpros.com
