Our surveying services include topographic surveys, ALTA Surveys, boundary surveys, condominium surveys, plats of subdivision, easement plats, construction layout, as-constructed measurement, elevation certificates, and expert witness services. ERA utilizes current state-of-the-art survey equipment including Trimble robotic total stations and GPS units.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage assigned survey projects Communicate with clients and project managers to determine work scope of survey projects, accommodate work requests, and create work orders Perform CAD based calculations and boundary analysis Perform CAD tasks in the preparation of Construction, ALTA, Boundary, Topographic and Plats of Subdivision Ability to competently read civil drawings, including complex details, and successfully interpret for construction layout Perform project research of recorded survey documents, maps, plats and deeds QA/QC and supervising the preparation of survey drawings and documents Perform field work when necessary Train interns and entry level staff

Qualifications:

Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Illinois. Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D Candidate must be reliable, dependable, responsible, and detail oriented Valid driving license and driving record acceptable to our company insurance provider Ability to work independently with a diverse project team Proficiency in operating Trimble GPS/VRS and Robotic Total Stations is preferred Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident (without sponsorship)
