Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support large-scale capital construction projects with our pharmaceutical manufacturing client. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex, high-value builds exceeding $200M. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in the field, enjoy hands-on measurement work, and want to play a critical role in tracking and validating project progress. Key Responsibilities Measure and track installed quantities across project scopes, including: Square footage of drywall Linear footage of piping Cable and electrical installations Other building and infrastructure components Perform accurate quantity take-offs based on real-time field progress Monitor and report construction progress against project plans Collaborate closely with construction and project controls teams to validate installed work Maintain clear, organized documentation of quantities and progress metrics Ensure alignment between field measurements and reporting requirements Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Quantity Measurer, or similar role Strong expertise in field-based measurement of installed construction work Experience supporting large-scale capital projects ($200M+) Ability to quantify multiple trades (mechanical, electrical, architectural) Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting capabilities Preferred Experience Background in pharma, oil & gas or other large industrial construction projects Hands-on field experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree
