Job Description
Job Description A client of Insight Global is seeking a Survey Party Chief in their Topeka, KS office. Whether operating solo or directing a small crew, this role is responsible for the accuracy and integrity of field data across a diverse range of boundary, construction, and engineering projects. Collaborate closely with Survey Manager along with the survey & design team to ensure scope is well understood and performed to project specifications. Perform office and field calculations. Interpret drawings and perform construction layout for commercial, industrial, public and private infrastructure projects. Conduct field surveying and data collection for a variety of survey projects. Ensure all work complies with industry standards and internal quality control procedures. Maintain and submit field records and documents that are complete and detailed for accurate data processing. Oversee topographic, boundary, ALTA, and right-of-way with occasional construction layout. Communicate project status updates and promptly report any field issues to the Survey Manager. Plan, organize, direct the work of field crew(s). Demonstrate ability to learn new techniques, receive and give constructive feedback while strengthening professional development. Strong client management experience. Perform other duties as assigned to support the office and project success.
