Cornerstone is seeking a Party Chief to join our team. This position will be primarily responsible for communicating with the Project Manager and/or Field Operations Lead and client field representative; Understanding the needs of the project and collecting field survey data required for the project; Supervises field survey personnel.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is frequently required to stand; walk long distances while carrying equipment, sometimes through rugged terrain, mud, or swamp; drive and/or ride in a boat; sit; balance, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds; use hands to operate, handle, maneuver and/or manipulate objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; use manual dexterity to operate equipment; talk and hear; Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Essential Functions:

Gather project requirements from project manager and field operations lead. Communicate project requirements to field team Complete daily job safety analysis form Conduct daily tailgate safety meetings Ensure field crew has necessary equipment and supplies to fulfill project requirements Inspect assigned equipment to ensure proper working conditions prior to use. Schedule routine maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment. Coordinate field work schedule based on project requirements Direct assigned field associates on daily assignments Compile notes, sketches, and records of survey data obtained Communicate findings of field survey with project team Track assigned field team associates' work hours and complete timesheets Train assigned field associates on survey Report incidents to the appropriate personnel Complete incident report as required Monitor work conditions and responsibly use stop work authority

Requirements:

A high school diploma OR its equivalent plus three to five years related work Ability to operate electronic distance measuring equipment and other surveying instruments, boats, airboats, GPS, all-terrain vehicles, and other equipment necessary to obtain survey data. Attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent interpersonal communication Strong Written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated, creative, organized, and solution advocate. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
