Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our innovative team. In this vital role, you will lead land surveying projects, utilizing cutting-edge technology and precise measurement techniques to gather accurate spatial data. Your expertise will support civil engineering, construction, and land development initiatives, ensuring all projects meet regulatory standards and client specifications. Duties Conduct land surveys using GPS, total stations, and other advanced surveying equipment to collect precise measurements of land parcels and construction sites. Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and drawings utilizing CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software such as AutoCAD and MicroStation. Develop and maintain comprehensive databases of survey data, ensuring accuracy and easy accessibility for project teams. Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, and construction teams to interpret survey data and provide technical guidance throughout project phases. Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and ArcGIS tools to analyze spatial information and support land planning and development activities. Perform field inspections, boundary determinations, topographic surveys, and staking for construction projects. Ensure all surveying activities comply with local regulations, safety standards, and best practices in land surveying. Qualifications Proven experience in land surveying with a strong understanding of civil engineering principles. Proficiency in GIS, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other drafting or mapping software tools. Hands-on experience with GPS technology, total stations, and other survey instrumentation. Knowledge of construction processes and how survey data integrates into project workflows. Familiarity with databases management for storing and retrieving survey information efficiently. Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills to interpret complex spatial data accurately. Certification or licensure as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level roles. Join us to shape the future of infrastructure development! Pay:
$65.00 - $200.00 per hour
