Position OverviewWe are seeking a Land Surveyor (LSIT or PLS) to support and oversee surveying projects across a variety of land development and infrastructure assignments. This role blends both field and office responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys technical work, problem-solving, and collaboration.

For licensed professionals, the role includes review and certification responsibilities, while LSIT candidates will gain hands-on experience working toward licensure.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform and/or oversee boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction surveysProcess and review field data to ensure accuracy and completenessPrepare and review survey plats, legal descriptions, and mapping deliverablesInterpret deeds, titles, and survey recordsSupport or lead field operations as neededCoordinate with engineers, project managers, and clientsEnsure compliance with state regulations and survey standards(PLS) Review and sign off on survey documents and deliverables(LSIT) Support licensed surveyors and gain progressive responsibility toward licensureRequired QualificationsLSIT certification or active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license3+ years of land surveying experience (LSIT) or 5+ years (PLS preferred)Experience with boundary, topographic, and construction surveysAbility to read and interpret plats, plans, and legal descriptionsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamPreferred QualificationsExperience with CAD and survey processing software (e.g., Civil 3D, Carlson, MicroStation)Knowledge of local/state survey regulations and standardsExperience working on land development or infrastructure projectsStrong communication and client-facing skillsWhat's OfferedCompetitive compensation based on experience and licensureHealth, dental, and vision benefits401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysSupport for professional development and licensure advancementCollaborative and growth-oriented environment
