You will utilize your technical expertise to develop precise lockout/tagout procedures that protect personnel and ensure full regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Perform thorough on-site evaluations of industrial machinery to identify all hazardous energy sources, including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Design and document machine-specific lockout/tagout road-maps that align with
OSHA 1910.147
standards. Translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable safety procedures for client implementation. Capture detailed visual and technical data to populate specialized safety management software. Validate the feasibility of proposed isolation methods to ensure both operational efficiency and maximum safety. Engage with facility stakeholders to provide expert guidance on safety protocols and compliance best practices. Execute the physical installation of LOTO tags and signage at client locations to finalize safety solutions. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in safety auditing, risk assessment, or EH&S compliance within industrial settings. Deep understanding of
OSHA 1910.147
lockout/tagout regulations. Ability to interpret complex technical documentation, including electrical schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical diagrams. Strong proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting and industrial electrical systems. Willingness to travel extensively to various client sites as a core component of the role. Preferred Skills Current OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour Certification. Prior experience in machine safety inspections or industrial maintenance. Excellent technical writing skills for procedure development. Strong interpersonal skills for effective client-facing communication.
