Survey Department Head

Job Summary The Clayton Engineering Company is seeking a Survey Department Head to oversee the daily operations of our survey department. Key Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the survey department Coordinate and schedule field crews and office staff Oversee project workloads, deadlines, and staffing needs Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients Ensure survey projects are completed on time and within budget Maintain quality control and internal standards Assist with project planning, proposals, and scope development Support field crews with logistics, equipment coordination, and staffing Help implement improvements to survey processes, technology, and workflows Qualifications Experience in land surveying operations, survey coordination, or survey project management Strong organizational and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple projects and schedules Familiarity with common surveying practices such as: Boundary surveys Topographic surveys Construction staking

ALTA/NSPS

Pay:

$85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
