Field Layout Technician

Field Layout Technician Dick Anderson Construction Dick Anderson Construction is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Layout Technician to support our project team in Libby, MT. This position is responsible for layout, data management, and field coordination using Topcon equipment and related software, and for assisting with Operator duties when needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil construction environments and a strong understanding of field layout and as-built documentation. Essential Job Functions Operator skills or heavy equipment experience preferred Operate and work with Topcon construction layout equipment Build TINs/models in the office for use in the field Perform field layout of points per project plans and specifications Complete accurate as-built documentation Track and calculate daily quantities at the end of each workday Upload, manage, and transfer files to and from field equipment Work closely with project managers, engineers, and field crews to ensure layout accuracy Maintain organized project data and documentation Preferred Skills & Qualifications Civil construction experience preferred Ability to read and interpret civil construction plans and specifications Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic computer and file management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay:

$40.00 - $44.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
