Summary We are seeking a Survey Crew Chief. The ideal candidate will be located in the Northeast/Central East NJ region , and must have knowledge of field surveying techniques, along with the ability to operate surveying equipment including total stations, data collectors and levels while performing right of way, boundary and topographic surveys. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate field crew during surveying operations Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively Ensure compliance with project scope and safety standards Review and validate survey data for accuracy and completeness Accountable for field data accuracy, documentation quality, crew productivity & adherence to scope Provide training and mentorship to junior staff Collaborate with office staff and other professionals to support project goals Requirements 5 years experience as a Field Surveyor required Proven experience in land surveying - 2 years minimum as Crew Chief 3D Terrestrial LiDAR Scanning experience preferred Familiar with operating surveying instruments Familiar with data collectors and surveying software Familiar with automatic line work a plus Experience with GPS equipment a plus Experience with robotic equipment a plus Excellent communication skills Excellent organizational skills
