Project Surveyor Colliers Engineering & Design - 3.1 Buffalo, NY Job Details Full-time $32.64 - $44.27 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a talented Project Surveyor to join our dynamic Survey/Geospatial team in Buffalo, Syracuse, or Rochester NY! At Colliers Engineering & Design, our survey professionals do more than collect data, they deliver precision, innovation, and results. From conventional surveying methods to advanced geospatial scanning, our licensed surveyors, skilled technicians, and expert field crews work seamlessly to provide clients with accurate, high-quality deliverables every time. As a Project Surveyor, you'll play a key role in shaping projects across the region, leveraging cutting-edge tools and proven expertise to ensure clients get the most reliable surveying and measurement services in the industry. Analyze and prepare complete boundary survey by compiling record data and providing sound analysis and reason for accurate property line location. Perform Quality Control review on reports, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and other contract documents prepared by others for accuracy and completeness. Provide accurate computation for the layout of subdivisions, roads and lots as well as buildings and utilities. Provide assistance to staff in the preparation of reports/findings, plans, and other contract documents. Organize and coordinate the work of field and office staff required to complete design, field and/or other tasks on more complex projects. Assist in the preparation of project/task work plans. Provide direction to staff to complete project objectives. Monitor the work efforts of assigned staff including sub-consultants and/or contractors. May supervise assignments given to the Survey Technician(s). Associate degree preferred, or equivalent technical experience. 5+ years of related experience. LSIT or PLS preferred. Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D, TBC (Trimble Business Center) & MicroStation. Proficient various data techniques and coding systems. Advanced knowledge of various surveying instruments, techniques, and computations. Advanced understanding of angular and linear measurement systems. Valid drivers' license required and ability to operate a motor vehicle. MVR will be checked and monitored. Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
Compensation:
$32.64/hr to $44.27/hr (depending on qualifications)
