Job Description
Land Surveyor We are seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join our team in Akron. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys to determine boundaries, locations, and elevation of land or structures. You will also be responsible for creating maps and reports based on your findings. To be successful in this role, you must have experience in land surveying and knowledge of surveying equipment and techniques. A valid license as a Professional Land Surveyor is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys using various methods such as GPS, total stations, and aerial imagery
- Prepare accurate maps, reports, and legal descriptions based on survey data
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to complete projects
- Ensure all survey work is completed within project deadlines and budget constraints
- Maintain accurate records of survey data and documents
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in land surveying
- Strong knowledge of land surveying equipment and techniques
- Familiarity with CAD software for mapping purposes
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid license as a Professional Land Surveyor (preferred)
- Must have own visa/ability to work in the US This is a full-time position with a salary starting at $1700 per month.
