Surveyor for Contract Work in Akron We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team for a contract position in Akron. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys and creating accurate maps and measurements for construction, engineering, and other projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and a passion for precision and accuracy.Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys using various tools and equipment
- Analyze data to create accurate maps, plans, and measurements
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure project success
- Utilize GPS technology to collect and record data
- Maintain accurate records of survey data
- Identify potential issues or discrepancies in survey data and communicate findings to project teams
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Surveyor
- Proficient in using surveying tools such as total stations, GPS receivers, laser scanners, etc.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD software
- Excellent mathematical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
