Job Title:
Surveyor for Contract Work in Akron We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team for a contract position in Akron. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys and creating accurate maps and measurements for construction, engineering, and other projects. Responsibilities:
Conduct field surveys using various tools and equipment
Analyze data to create accurate maps, plans, and measurements
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure project success
Utilize GPS technology to collect and record data
Maintain accurate records of survey data
Identify potential issues or discrepancies in survey data and communicate findings to project teams
Adhere to safety protocols at all times
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Surveyor
Proficient in using surveying tools such as total stations, GPS receivers, laser scanners, etc.
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD software
Excellent mathematical skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
Working Conditions:
This is a contract position with a salary of $1400 per month. As this is a contract role, accommodation will not be provided.
