ABOUT THRASHER

By joining us, you will collaborate with engineers, designers, scientists, and technicians on meaningful projects from inception to completion.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Licensed Professional Surveyor to join our Canton, OH team. In this role, you will lead the surveying and geomatics department, manage projects for public and private sector clients, and play a key role in growing the practice.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead all aspects of the surveying and geomatics department, including field crews and supporting technical staff Manage survey and geomatics projects for public and private sector clients Identify and develop business opportunities with new and existing clients Maintain communication with key staff and offices to ensure department success and sustainability Plan, organize, supervise, and mentor survey crews, technicians, and internal staff Coordinate assignments to support project management and deadline adherence
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Licensure:
Active Professional Surveyor (PS) license in the State of Ohio required
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity
Leadership:
Demonstrated ability to lead a team, mentor staff, and manage multiple crews Project management: Strong ability to organize, prioritize, and manage projects across varying scopes Time management: Strong time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines Work style: High productivity working both independently and collaboratively
