Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Surveyor to join our growing team in Cleveland, Ohio. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of land development, infrastructure, and environmental projects, supporting multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate, high-quality surveying solutions. Key Responsibilities Perform a range of surveying tasks, including topographic surveys, boundary surveys, construction staking, and as-built surveys Manage survey projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines and budgets are met Collect, process, and analyze field data using industry-standard equipment and software Prepare detailed survey drawings, maps, and reports for internal teams and clients Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to support project delivery Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements Maintain survey equipment and ensure proper calibration and use Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field Proven experience in a Project Surveyor or similar role Proficiency with surveying equipment (e.g., GPS, total stations, laser scanners, drones) Experience with software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar platforms Strong organizational and project management skills Excellent communication and client-facing abilities Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites Preferred Qualifications Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license or ability to obtain licensure Experience working on land development, transportation, or infrastructure projects Familiarity with GIS and/or reality capture technologies (LiDAR, photogrammetry) What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional growth and licensure support Exposure to diverse and technically challenging projects Collaborative team environment Flexible work arrangements where applicable Get job alerts Share Copied to clipboard Related roles Heavy Civil Estimator Hampstead, MD
