Job Description

MSS Inc is a land surveying, civil engineering, structural engineering, and land use planning firm based in the Willamette Valley. We are seeking an experienced Land Survey Technical Lead to join our team and contribute to our Oregon based projects. Role Description This is a full-time, mainly in-office role based in Corvallis, OR, for a Land Survey Technical Lead. The role mainly involves overseeing and reviewing the technical aspects of projects like Property Line Locates, Topographic Surveys, Property Line Adjustments, Partitions, Subdivisions, ALTAs, Elevation Certificates, LOMAs, and more. Additional responsibilities may include training team members and improving processes, as able. You would work directly with our Survey Manager, Drafter, and Crewman.
Required:
LSIT and/or CST3 office track. At least four years of relevant experience. Excellent attention to detail. Interpersonal skills to work on a team as both a leader and a follower. Preference will be given to candidates with the following: PLS in Oregon or ability to receive Oregon PLS by comity within six months. Oregon specific survey experience. Land Use Planning experience. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary office. Effective research capabilities to improve methodologies and identify innovative solutions. Experience providing effective technical training of team members. Pay is dependent upon experience and licensure. If relocating for the position, please expect us to ask you to move within 60 days of signing offer.
