The Surveying and Geomatics Business Unit is seeking a Project Surveyor in Portland, OR . As a Project Surveyor, you will guide the technical execution of projects ranging from boundary and topographic surveys to ALTA, right-of-way, and construction support. You'll work directly with clients, internal teams, and staff in the field and office to ensure deliverables meet expectations and promote professional growth throughout your team.What You'll Do Key Responsibilities :
Develop scopes, schedules, and budgets for a variety of survey projects Supervise and coordinate field survey crew personnel and related scheduling Perform research and calculations in multiple jurisdictions Lead QA/QC for deliverables across boundary, control, and construction-related surveys Build and maintain client relationships within the region Coordinate with other DEA business units on integrated project delivery Mentor and support field and office staff to advance their development within the professionWhat You Bring Required Qualifications :
Oregon Professional Land Surveyor license, or ability to obtain within 1 year Minimum of 8 years of professional experience Ability to independently manage projects and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders Experience mentoring junior staff and directing technical work Proficiency with CAD and land surveying software (e.g., Civil 3D, MicroStation InRoads/OpenRoads) Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset What We Offer We foster an environment where talented professionals have the freedom and support to do their most meaningful work.
