Survey Crew Chief

LEI Engineering & Surveying of Oregon is seeking a Survey Crew Chief for project work throughout western Oregon, primarily in the central Willamette Valley. Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

2+ years of land surveying field experience Valid driver's license Proficient with robotic total stations, preferably Trimble hardware Experience with GPS, preferably Trimble hardware Ability to work both independently and as a team player Good organizational skills Clear and accurate note-taking skills Ability to travel to remote job sites, including occasional overnight stays

Job Description:

The Survey Crew Chief will work closely and collaboratively with Land Surveying Project Managers on a variety of projects involving both field and office tasks, with primary responsibility in the field. Typical duties may include, but are not limited to: Property corner location and marking Boundary surveys Construction layout and staking Topographic surveys Elevation certificates ALTA surveys Cadastral property line surveying Surveys for partitions and subdivisions This position frequently requires interaction with clients in the field; therefore, strong communication skills and professionalism are essential.

Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
