Job Description

Build with precision. Lead with technology. Supreme Industries is seeking an experienced Surveyor to support heavy civil, earthwork, and infrastructure projects throughout the Northeast and beyond. This role is ideal for a motivated construction professional with strong field survey and layout experience, advanced technology capabilities, and a passion for precision in the field. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting project execution through accurate survey control, machine guidance, BIM coordination, drone operations, and construction layout for complex civil construction projects.

position is advertised based on office location in Harwinton CT but ideal candidate may work remotely from within any of our core geographies (CT, MA, NY, PA), as travel to project locations will be required.   • Perform construction survey and layout for heavy civil, grading, earthwork, utility, and infrastructure projects
  • Maintain project control points, benchmarks, and layout data
  • Support GPS-enabled construction equipment and machine control systems
  • Utilize BIM and digital modeling technologies to support project planning and execution
  • Process and manage field survey data, topographic information, and as-built documentation
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, Engineers, and field crews to ensure layout accuracy and production efficiency
  • Conduct drone flights and aerial data collection in support of surveying, progress tracking, and site analysis
  • Assist with quantity tracking, surface modeling, and terrain analysis
  • Maintain survey equipment, drone equipment, and related software systems
  • Ensure all survey activities are performed safely and in compliance with company and project requirements
  • Carry out job duties while maintaining the Supreme values
  • And other duties as assigned Required Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience performing survey and layout for heavy civil, earthwork, or infrastructure construction projects required
  • Experience with BIM, modeling, and construction technology platforms preferred
  • FAA Part 107 Drone License required (or able to become licensed)
  • Experience with TopCon survey equipment strongly preferred
  • Experience with Propeller software preferred
  • Strong understanding of grading, utilities, sitework, and civil construction practices
  • Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Able to work independently with minimal daily direction
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
