$100 for inspection sitting / $200•250 per survey About the Role LightSkye Energy is hiring a Site Surveyor based in Pittsburgh PA to perform solar site surveys and sit inspections across the state. You'll independently travel to customer homes, gather required roof and electrical data, and upload complete survey packets for the design and installation teams. For inspections, you simply need to show up and wait until the inspector arrives. Once the inspector arrives, you will be asked to turn the system on and off and sometimes show photos that we supply you with. Once completed, that's it! Responsibilities Complete solar roof & electrical site surveys Take all required photos (roof planes, attic, electrical, shading, conduit paths, etc.) Measure roof pitch, azimuth, dimensions, and structural details Assess main service panel, grounding, meter, and code-required items Document obstructions (vents, chimneys, trees, etc.) Upload survey packet same day Follow LightSkye survey standards and communicate with ops/design as needed What We Provide Full training on LightSkye's survey process Required survey tools/equipment (laser measure, drone, ladder, pitch gauge, etc.) Pre-scheduled routes — you run the appointments Support from design and operations teams Requirements Must live in or near Pittsburgh, PA Must be available 6 days a week (No Sundays) Comfortable on roofs and using ladders Reliable vehicle + valid driver's license Able to use apps, camera, and upload files efficiently Roofing/solar/electrical experience is a plus Strong communication and follow-through How to
