You have a broad understanding of architectural design, construction, and safety. You are already an expert. Robson Forensic will train you to be a forensic expert. As an Architecture Expert, you will: Investigate architectural incidents. Analyze documents and on-site conditions to determine the facts and issues at hand. Write clear, scientifically sound reports. Provide expert testimony. You will delve into the "why" behind incidents, critically assessing decision-making, operational procedures, and the standard of care. It is extremely challenging work, but also an intellectually thrilling and rewarding experience.

B.S. or higher in Architecture and an active state licensure in good standing.Licensure:
NCARB membership w/ multi-state licensure eligibility; AIA membership a plus.Certification:
Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI), or willing to become certified.Experience:
15+ years of post-degree experience, designing or working on buildings with a variety of Use Groups - Assembly, Business, Educational, Mercantile, Industrial, Institutional, Factory, and Residential, mixed-use; experience with code evaluation, specification writing and/or diagnosing building defects and design analysis; proven experience in construction, demonstrated through contract administration, construction management, design/build, and/or general contracting. Additional Experience aPlus:
Property management & BIM experience a plus.Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of building safety and construction technology.Skills:
Excellent technical & analytical skills; strong written & verbal communication skills.Ability:
Safely climb/navigate ladders, roofs, scaffolding, etc. for inspection activities.Work Style:
Approximately 20% travel for inspections; the remainder is focused on analysis and report drafting, working independently and as part of a collaborative team. Prior forensic experience is not required. We seek professionals eager to apply their deep industry knowledge to a challenging new domain. You must have a clean background screen, a driver's license, and the ability to drive.
