Hiring for a Party Crew Chief to lead field survey operations on complex infrastructure, transportation, and development projects throughout NYC. You'll work alongside a collaborative team of surveyors, engineers, and project managers on high‑visibility projects that shape the built environment. Full‑Time About the Role We are looking for a Survey Project Manager to lead survey projects from planning through delivery, supporting major infrastructure, transportation, and development initiatives across the NYC region. This role blends technical expertise with client leadership and is ideal for someone who enjoys owning outcomes and driving project success. You'll play a critical role in coordinating field and office teams, managing schedules and budgets, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders. What You'll Do Manage survey projects through all phases, from proposal support to final deliverables Coordinate field crews, office staff, and subcontractors to meet project schedules Review and QA/QC survey data, plans, and reports Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and project partners Develop scopes, schedules, and cost controls to support project profitability Support business development efforts through technical insight and client relationships Mentor survey staff and contribute to team growth and development What We're Looking For 7+ years of land surveying experience, including project management responsibility Strong technical knowledge of boundary, topographic, ALTA, and construction surveys Experience managing projects in dense urban or infrastructure environments Familiarity with NYC agencies, standards, and approval processes a plus Professional licensure (PLS) or progress toward licensure preferred Strong leadership, communication, and client‑facing skills Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $155000.00/yr. Full benefits package; medical, vision, dental, 401k, bonus and tuition/certification reimbursements.
