Fishbeck is seeking experienced Surveyor professional to support a variety of field and office-based projects across Ohio. From boundary and topographic surveys to construction layout and control, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate data and supporting engineering and design teams. What You'll Work On Perform boundary, topographic, construction, and control surveys with minimal supervision. Operate advanced surveying equipment including robotic total stations, RTK GPS, and data collectors. Interpret legal descriptions, plats, and engineering drawings to determine property boundaries and project layouts. Lead field crews, assign tasks, and ensure efficient and accurate data collection. Prepare and review survey maps, plats, and reports using CAD and GIS software. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and contractors to support design and construction efforts. Identify and resolve discrepancies in survey data and field conditions. Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and project specifications. What We're Looking For 2-5 years of professional surveying experience. Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field preferred. Proficiency in boundary, topographic, construction, and control surveying methods. Skilled in using robotic total stations, RTK GPS, and data collectors. Familiarity with ODOT survey standards and Open Roads Designer software. Strong understanding of legal descriptions, plats, and land records. Experience with CAD and GIS software for data processing and analysis. Proven ability to lead field crews and manage survey projects independently. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
