Job Description

Survey Party Chief $65K-$75K Starting Annual Salary Range Survey Party Chief Position available with a Professional Surveying and Engineering firm. Absolutely must be a self-starter, highly-motivated and ready to hit the ground running. Candidate must have working knowledge utilizing GPS, Robotic Total Station and TDS data collection software. Please provide references with resume.
Responsibilities:
Party-Chief will be working within the firms Residential Group and the work will primarily be House layout, Boundary, Topographical and As-Built Surveys. Party-Chief will be outfitted with a Robotic Total Station and a GPS unit to perform work. Company Vehicle and gas card will be provided.
Skills & Experience:
A minimum of 5 years field survey experience required. (required) Ability to operate a Robotic Total Station and RTK GPS. (desired, but will train the right candidate) Familiarity with TDS data collection. (desired, but will train the right candidate) Candidate should have knowledge to handle most survey-related tasks in the field including translating and rotating with data collector. (desired, but will train the right candidate) Experience in reading and understanding deeds and plats. (required) Experience in recovery of boundary evidence in the field. (required) Ability to collect as-built and topographic data, provide sketches and work with survey technicians to develop superior mapping products. (required)
Additional Requirements:
Must understand the importance of the deliverable and have a track record of ownership with regards to all projects and assignments and be a team player. (required) Must have and maintain a valid driver's license in order to operate company vehicle. (required) Good communication skills are needed (required) Must be reliable (required)
