Nashville, TN Job Details Full-time 22 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Qualifications Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Presentation software Practicing in the surveying industry Driver's License Google Earth Telecommunication Construction Appointment scheduling Full Job Description CATV Field Walkout Engineer - Survey Tech (Nashville, TN and Surrounding Areas) Americomm, LLC is looking for a CATV Surveyor to perform Residential and Commercial CATV Coax & Fiber site surveys along with permitting (as needed) in the Nashville, TN and surrounding areas. This is a full-time, production-based position.

Responsibilities:

Perform CATV Coax and Fiber site survey from existing location to proposed termination locations at a pre-determined site. Report site survey with plan showing route and ISP locations. Obtain all information needed to put cost to proposed plan (show all needed road permits, pole apps, RR permits, etc.) Pole profiles, as-builts and site meets as needed. Route and schedule your workload in timely manner/return work back to office

Qualifications:

Must have a general knowledge of construction practices for Coax and Fiber systems. Must understand CATV and utility installation principles, methods and practices Must understand CATV and utility construction methods and practices (aerial and underground). Ability to develop construction plan with documentation in the field. Previous Cable TV Coax and Fiber site survey experience is preferred. Must have experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Google Earth / Maps. Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen and have valid Driver's License. Knowledge of N.E.C and N.E.S.C. for communications for outside plant and construction practice and inside and around buildings. Ability to be self-managed, schedule and keep appointments and send completed work in a timely manner. Have clean, dependable transportation and maintain vehicle insurance. Have all tools associated with engineering practice or ability to purchase them (or we can supply).
