Job Description

Role Summary The Lead Site Engineer serves as the senior on-site representative for the project, overseeing daily field operations and ensuring established workflows, quality standards, and procedures are consistently followed. This role acts as the primary liaison between the field team and the client while also performing hands-on site engineering duties such as progress tracking and quality inspections. This position will be on site for 1-2 years before moving to a new project location. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the daily activities of Site Engineers and Graduate Site Engineers assigned to the project. Ensure all team members adhere to project workflows, QA procedures, and data collection standards. Promote adoption and effective use of digital construction platforms among client teams and project stakeholders. Track construction progress against BIM models using augmented reality and digital field technology. Conduct on-site quality assurance inspections and document findings within project management platforms. Participate in weekly coordination meetings with clients to review project progress and quality concerns. Monitor quality issues identified by the engineering team and ensure timely review and resolution by the client. Mentor and support Site Engineers to maintain strong project execution and delivery standards. Identify and escalate project risks, obstacles, or performance concerns to project leadership when needed. Required Skills & Experience Experience working on large-scale construction projects. Previous experience leading, supervising, or coordinating small teams. Strong understanding of construction drawings, BIM models, and field operations. Excellent communication skills with both technical personnel and client stakeholders. Comfortable working with digital construction technology and software tools.
