Job Description

HireArt is helping a leading AI technology company find a Data Capture Technician to support reality capture efforts on active construction sites in Texas. In this role, you will operate reality capture equipment such as 360-degree cameras and surveying tools to collect detailed site data used for algorithmic and AI-driven analysis. This is a part-time, field-based role requiring 8-10 hours on one weekday per week, with Thursday availability required (minimum of 5 hours onsite) in and around El Paso, TX. We're looking for candidates who are able to start immediately. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and enjoys hands-on fieldwork. You are comfortable working outdoors on active construction sites and using technology to collect accurate, high-quality data. Candidates with backgrounds in construction, photography, civil engineering, and college students are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do Operate 360-degree cameras and other reality capture and surveying equipment on construction sites. Capture comprehensive site data using established tools, processes, and methodologies. Document and clearly communicate on-site progress to the project team. Follow all safety protocols to ensure personal safety and protect site personnel and equipment. Collaborate with the project team to meet project-specific requirements. Work on large-scale construction sites throughout Texas. Must be available to work 8-10 hours on one weekday per week, with Thursday availability required (minimum of 5 hours onsite) in and around El Paso, TX. (Additional availability is a plus but not required.) Comfortable working on active construction sites and in varying outdoor conditions A strong work ethic and a dependable, responsible approach to fieldwork The ability to walk long distances and perform physical tasks throughout the workday Clear communication skills and a strong commitment to safety, including adherence to site-specific and client-specific protocols A positive attitude and the ability to work independently to solve problems Bonus qualifications: Experience in construction, surveying, civil engineering, or related fields Previous field-based or site-based work experience Technical aptitude or familiarity with field equipment
