This opportunity is Hybrid in Houston, Texas #LI-Hybrid The Role The Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) as a key member of our Geospatial and Surveying group, you'll play an essential role in supporting field and office operations across a variety of energy infrastructure and industrial projects—primarily in the oil and gas sector. We're looking for someone who not only brings technical expertise but also has a growth mindset and a desire to help us expand our Survey business unit. Our Clients and Projects Designing the future. Expected:
Must be a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) licensed in the state of Texas Minimum 3 years of land surveying experience, preferably in oil and gas or industrial sectors Strong working knowledge of modern surveying instruments, CAD software, and GIS tools Proven leadership and communication skills Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to contribute to the growth of the business unit Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout
Texas Desirable:
Licensure in additional states Typical responsibilities Supervise and manage field survey crews and office staff Oversee and review boundary, topographic, route, and as-built surveys Prepare and certify plats, legal descriptions, and survey reports Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to define survey scopes Develop and provide cost and time estimates for survey services as part of project planning and proposals Support business development efforts and contribute to the strategic growth of the Survey group Ensure compliance with state regulations and professional standards Travel to project sites across Texas as needed
