Job Description

Our client, a well-established and family-oriented civil engineering firm in Cedar City, is growing their Survey group and looking for an experienced Survey Lead to guide both field and office staff locally. What You'll DoLead day-to-day operations of the local Survey team, including both field and office staffOversee project planning, scheduling, and quality control for survey deliverablesServe as a technical resource and mentor for junior surveyors and field crewsCoordinate with civil engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure accurate and timely project executionSupport boundary, topographic, construction staking, and ALTA survey projectsImplement and uphold company standards for safety, accuracy, and field practicesContribute to team growth, training, and long-term development of the local Survey group
What They're Looking ForIdeal Qualifications:
Utah PLS (Professional Land Surveyor) licenseProven experience leading survey field crews and/or office teamsStrong technical knowledge across boundary, construction, and topographic surveyingExperience with survey equipment, data collection workflows, and modern surveying softwareStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplinesThey're also open to:
