Survey Coordinator

Job Summary This role is fully competent in land surveying with a primary area of focus on Electric Transmission and Substation engineering projects. Delivers advanced level knowledge and leadership to co-workers and all project stake holders with added expectations and responsibility in technical management and coordination between internal and external resources along with increased accountability for Survey contractor Quality Control. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experiences (Minimum Requirements) Full knowledge of Virginia and North Carolina State Land Survey Regulations Strong knowledge of CAD Strong leadership and project management skills Strong knowledge of construction stakeout Provide guidance to less experienced team members. Strong written and verbal communications skills Ability to analyze drawings and specifications and make precise decisions Strong personal computer skills. Strong working knowledge of Global Positioning System practices and procedures Working knowledge of various GIS software and applications Ability to work independently as well as in a diverse team environment.
