Survey Manager (PLS)

We are seeking a seasoned Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to oversee survey operations in Manassas, Virginia. This leadership role is ideal for a licensed surveyor with strong management skills and a background in pipelines, utilities, and large-scale infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage survey crews and staff to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient project delivery. Oversee day-to-day operations including staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Collaborate with internal service managers and clients to drive business development opportunities and expand surveying services. Manage projects with a primary focus on pipeline and utility surveys, ensuring compliance with survey standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and best practices that strengthen team performance and operational excellence. Qualifications Active Virginia PLS license required. 10+ years of progressive surveying experience, including project and team management. Strong background in pipeline, utility, and infrastructure projects preferred. Experience managing multiple crews and survey staff is strongly valued.
